Juice, Flowers, & Jewelry

 

I love creativity and craftiness. I myself am neither of those, so I gravitate to individuals that are. Here are five amazing examples of women who kick ass in both departments. All entrepreneurs, all boss babes. Check each of them out, and you'll see why!

1. Dawn & Day Jewelry: I ran across these babes on Instagram, and I was immediately obsessed. Their HAND MADE jewelry is to die for! Not to mention they are the sweetest. I love working with them! Each piece is so unique, made with love. They are based in Alberta Canada, which guarantees us US ladies to have the most unique jewelry around!

2. Vive Juicery: I went to high school with Ms. Britt Shimmin. She started this cold pressed juice company from the ground up, along with her co-founder Bryce. Britt is a force to be reckoned with. She is a successful business woman, fierce, supporter of all things local, and beautiful to boot. Vive now has THREE locations! She is absolutely killing the juice game. Britt is an amazing example of never giving up on your dreams.

3. The Lovely Ave: I will never stop loving, and praising Margie. She is the most talented, and creative woman I know! Her paper flowers are beyond gorgeous. Picture's never do them justice. So, I suggest you order some!

4. The High Pines: Mariah has been taking my pictures for a few months now. I am so awkward and uncomfortable in front of the camera. But Mia makes me feel so at ease and comfortable. She doesn't take herself too serious, which is crazy because she is gorgeous and extremely talented! She shoots everything from bloggers, to family pictures, to weddings. Check her out!

In The City, Part I

Over the holidays I collaborated with the most amazing women to bring you this amazing photo shoot! So amazing that I decided to split it into three separate posts.

Hand Lettering, The SLC Creative. Kelsie, my dearest friend! You can always count on Kels to make everyone in the room feel at ease. She cracks jokes like it's second nature. She just recently started her hand lettering journey, and is already KILLING THE GAME. Talented, funny, smart, & beautiful.. she's the whole shebang. She also does custom work! Hair & Makeup, Abigail Hill. This is the first time I met Abby. She is passionate, talented, and oh-so adorable! Simplicity

I love simplicity. Simplicity is timeless. I love pattern play too, but I am a sucker for a nice solid shirt. Simple, solid color tops are everything when it comes to staple closet pieces. Same goes for nude heels, you can't go wrong with nude heels. You don't have to be worried when you buy simple staple pieces if they will be "in style" next year. Buy those trendy pieces from inexpensive places, like Forever 21, and pair them with your timeless pieces. It's closet play, without breaking the bank.
